He is a lifelong Labour Party member and has been involved in a number of Labour campaigns, including Ed Miliband's successful 2010 leadership bid. He joined the campaign because of his love of London and brilliant cities across the world. However, as a cyclist, public transport user, school governor and worker – he became concerned about the future of Greater London.
