#WolmarTube - 270 stations in record attempt


Christian Wolmar’s world record attempt – to visit all 270 stations on the London Underground network in less than a day – will start in Zone 7 at Rickmansworth on the Metropolitan line just after 6am this Friday, August 7, with the finishing post at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 station some time after 10pm.

“I doubt that any London Mayor or candidate has ever been to every Tube station, let alone in one day,” said Christian Wolmar, who is seeking selection by Labour to be the party’s candidate in the 2016 Mayor of London election.
